Tavertet is one of those inland Catalan villages where life is slower and where nature connects with the village, creating a magical place. The town still maintains and preserves its cobbled streets and stone houses from the 17th and 18th centuries. In the village you can also visit ancient Roman monuments such as the church of Sant Cristofol, the hermitage of Sant Corneli or the prehistoric settlement of Sant Bartolomeu Sesgorgues.
Tavertet is very close to Camping Rupit, and is located above huge rocks from where you can admire the Sau Reservoir.
