Discover the magical hidden places created by the river banks around the village, where tones of green and blue mix together as the water and the flora intertwine between gigantic rocks, creating impressive waterfalls.

Rupit and its surroundings are a perfect place to spend a few days during the hottest months of the year, enjoying the refreshing water of the rivers and streams that bathe the region.

One of the most important and famous itineraries where you can bathe is the route that goes from Rupit to Salt de Sallent. On this route there are several areas where you can enjoy the river:

• At the start of the route, just before the first waterfall, there is a calm water area where you can swim, even the little ones.
• Then, about 2 minutes later, just below a source, we have one of the most emblematic spots of the route, where you can enjoy the refreshing waters of the river just under a waterfall.
• Finally and right at the end of the route we have Salt de Sallent, where just before the cliff are some natural pools in which the cold water of the river will help you fight the heat in summer.

You can also visit Cantonigròs, where we have La Foradada, an impressive gorge in the shape of an amphitheatre from which a beautiful waterfall falls.

In addition to these routes, there are several options for hiking or swimming in the rivers. We can inform you about all the options at the reception. You can also ask the tourist office in Rupit when you visit the village.
