Water parks for kiddos
If you travel with little kids, you probably won’t need one of those huge campsites with big bathing areas. On the contrary, your best option might be a campsite with some smaller pools and slides, not too deep and with some cute little water games and figures to play with. Safety is really important, that’s why usually these areas are delimited so it’s easier for the parents to keep an eye on their kids.
Water parks for adults and teenagers
When travelling with grown up kids, or even if it’s just the parents who want to have some waterpark and waterslide fun too, then you should be looking for a bigger campsite that offers slides and pools for teenagers and adults
Most of the campsites with waterslides in Spain are located on the Mediterranean coast, especially on the Costa Brava (Girona), Costa Dorada (Tarragona) and Costa Blanca (Alicante). Even though there are also some campsites with some impressive bathing areas around Barcelona, Valencia and Castellón.

It’s time for an aquatic adventure at the best campsites with water slides
Nowadays it’s increasingly difficult to surprise the kids, but we’re quite sure that you will with one of the best campsites with water slides. Here are our suggestions for campsites with waterparks.
Camping Sènia Cala Gogo Internacional, with 2 water parks (Calonge, Costa Brava)
This is one of the best known campsites with water slides in all Europe, and its recognition is more than deserved. It has a perfect location right in the middle of the Costa Brava, right above one of the most beautiful coves, Cala Ses Torretes, better known as “Cala Gogo”, as well as the Cala Cristus beach. Furthermore, it’s located next to Playa de Aro, a fisher’s village known for its shopping and leisure possibilities, and on the other hand, the village of Sant Antoni de Calonge, mostly known for its unique landscapes and beaches.
But we were talking about the bathing areas; these are undoubtedly as impressive as their surroundings. Camping Cala Gogo Internacional is the result of merging two neighbouring campsites in 2023, Cala Gogo and Internacional de Calonge. Both were already big and had a lot of facilities, like the 7 swimming pools and 5 water slides of Camping Cala Gogo. Now, to duplicate the hours of fun and to surprise the children and their parents too, a second water park with giant water slides is inaugurated in 2023 in the area of Camping Internacional.
In short, at this campsite on the Costa Brava, you will find 2 water parks with facilities designed for all ages: multi-lane slides, snail-shaped slides, straight slides for more speed, closed slide with light effect, slide with mat, and also large pools, swimming pools with private access in certain areas, shallow children's pools with animal figures and water springs, chill-out pools with bubbles...
Camping Sènia Caballo de Mar, a child's aquatic paradise (Pineda de Mar, Barcelona)
Camping Caballo de Mar is one of the best campsites with slides for kids and adults. Even though it’s not as big as Cala Gogo Internacional, it has a great bathing area with 2 children pools, 1 swimming pool and a jacuzzi. In the bathing area you will find 4 waterslides, 3 are for racing and the fourth is spiral-shaped. Furthermore, in the children pool there’s another waterslide especially for the kids.
We should mention that in 2020 the whole area has been refurbished and there’s a brand new splash area for kids, full of cute little figures and a big whale where you can walk in and play with the water springs. Without a doubt, a place where kids will enjoy themselves and parents can have a rest while having a drink on the terrace’s restaurant.
Regarding the campsite, it’s very quiet, flat, and not too big so it’s easy to keep an eye on the kids. The best of all is that there’s little to none traffic, as most of the cars park in a designated area.
Another key point of the campsite it that it has direct access to the beach of Pineda de Mar. It is a wide and flat beach with golden sand and crystal clear water, that’s not as deep as the beaches from the Costa Brava.
Last but not least, it should be mentioned that Pineda de Mar has a great train connection with Barcelona, so it’s an ideal destination to get to know this wonderful city. And if you live in Barcelona, it is a great excuse to get away for the weekend. The train station is only a 7-minute walk away from the campsite.
Camping Sènia Tucan, with water slides for the whole family (Lloret de Mar, Costa Brava)
Sènia Tucan is probably one of the most charming campsites with slides in the area of Lloret de Mar. All its bathing facilities are located at the same spot so it’s all nearby, even the restaurant, entertainment and gym are right there.
Regarding the pools and slides, there’s a jacuzzi, a children’s pool with a cute playground in the water with its own small slide, a swimming pool and 3 wild water slides. These stand out because of the décor, located on a small rocky hill which you access through narrow stairs.
About the location, the campsite is located in Fenals, a very quiet neighbourhood of Lloret de Mar. Lloret’s main centre is just a 20-minute walk away from the campsite and there’s also a great bus connection from there, as the bus stop is right in front of the campsite. Apart from that, just 5 minutes from Sènia Tucan you will find Cala Sa Boadella, one of the best known little coves on the Costa Brava, and of the best reviewed in Europe.
So long story short, Camping Tucan is a great campsite to enjoy the Costa Brava with your family.
