¿What would a camping be without entertainment or activities? It would be a complete different idea. Campsites and it’s entertainment is what differs from one another. Everytime there are more and more campings that decide to expand their activity programm. It’s not easy to find a campsite that offers entertainment and activities for kids and adults, but no worries, we’ve found it!
We camping lovers , and specially those who enjoy family camping, know that entertainment one of the most important points to look at when choosing a campsite. Specially the ones that offer children’s entertainment. We know that if the kids are entertained, mom and dad will be having a great time too, having some rest and joining the adult activity programm.
It doesn’t matter if you come with your caravan or if you look for a bungalow. When looking for a campsite , we look for a place to relax and enjoy nature.Of course it’s always a great plan to take a walk through other villages, beaches or coves nearby, but when camping with kids we should have a closer look at their services and activities , as probably, we well be spending most of our time there.
Camping with kids club
When travelling with kids, you should be chosing a campsite with kids club and activities. If the kids are having fun, mom and dad will too! We leave you some camping suggestions with the best children’s activities:
Camping Tucan (Lloret de Mar, Costa Brava)
It’s a very cozy family campsite in Lloret de Mar, just in the outskirts of Blanes. The campsite has great bathing services with kiddy pools and all, jacuzzi and waterslides. About the activities, it stands out because of its instructor led activities like the mini disco, Aquagym, handcrafting and Mini Golf, and many more surprises you will find at Camping Tucan.
The place is ideal for the Little ones, as the services are all around the same area, pools, bar and restaurant and entertainments, so parents can always keep an eye on their kids while they’re fully entertaint.
By the way, we should say that the campsite is only a 7 minute walk away from one of the best known coves at the Mediterranean. Cala Sa Boadella. It’s a Little cristal clear water cove, with lots of space for the kids to play.
Camping Caballo de Mar (Pineda de Mar, Barcelona)
The campsite is located in the province of Barcelona, just an hour away from Barcelona. There’s an excelent connection by train from the campsite to this wonderful city, and the station is just t a 7 minute walk away.
Caballo de Mar is a family campsite that offers some Brand new services for the kids. Moreover, it’s a flat area so it’s very accessible for everyone.
Bear in mind it’s divided in two areas: pool and beach side. Our advice is to book the pool side when coming with Little kids, as most of the activities are held there and it’s the kid’s favourite place, while the beach side is great when looking for some sun, peace and quiet, and is great when you have grown up kids who can handle themselves.
About the main camping activities:
- Kids Club: Every high season afternoon and weekends, kids and entertainers gather around to play, handcraft, practice some dancing, dress up and lots of other games.
- Mini Disco: Every evening around 19, we gather around the stage to dance to the most fun children’s songs. ¿Ready to get moving?
- Seni games: I can’t believe you don’t know Seni yet! She’s the’s campsite’s mascot and you cannot leave until you meet her. She’s fun, she’s kind and she loves top lay and dance.
- Kid’s shows: There are shows every evening specially for the kids: Theatre, musicals, circus…
Campings with entertainment and activities for teens and adults
It’s not easy to find a holiday destination when the kids are grown ups. As years go by it becomes harder to find places that offer entertainment for teens.
Nevertheless, we’ve been checking some campsites and we’ve found some with a wide range of entertainment and activities for both, teens and adults.
Camping Cala Canyelles (Lloret de Mar, Costa Brava)
The campsite is located right between Lloret de mar and Tossa de Mar. Lloret is known for its range leisure and shopping options. Walking down its main Street you will find all sorts of shops, bars and discos, where your teens can enjoy the summer nights. On the other hand, you will discover Tossa de Mar, one of the most beautiful villages in Catalonia. The perfect combo of nature and culture reflects its wonderful coast down an imposing castle, one of those places you should not miss.
About the activities for teens and adults:
- Diving and snorkeling: Just 200m from the campsite you will find “Cala Canyelles”, a magical spot ideal to dive or snorkel in its cristal clear waters that hold such a great flora and fauna.
- Biking: If your’re a biking lover, riding up and down the coast line should be a must, to discover the south Costa brava.
- Hiking: Do you already know the “camino de ronda” route? You can start it from the beach down the campsite and follow it all along the Costa Brava
- Kayak: You can hire a kayak or Paddle surf at the campsite’s reception and enjoy a trip in the sea, which is a great way to discover Little coves that aren’t accesible when walking.
Regardless of all those activities that could be done around the campsite , and always keeping in mind the great amount of activities and entertainment it offers for teens and adults , it stands out because of its peace and quiet atmosphere. Unlike most of the campsites at the coast. Camping Canyelles has its accommodations organized in a way they guarantee full privacy, same as for their camping pitches.
By the way, if you happen to choose Cala Canyelles, don’t miss the chance to make a barbeque on your accommodation’s terrace or camping pitch, as from most of them you will have a great view over the Costa Brava.
Camping Rupit (Rupit, Montañas de Barcelona)
Mountain lover, this is the perfect place to enjoy your camping holidays in the inlands of Catalonia and enjoy some nature activities.
The campsite is just a 5 minute walk away from the charming village of Rupit, known for its history, buildings and cobbled streets, and for being a meeting point between the best hiking routes in Catalonia. Moreover, in Rupit you will enjoy some other great activities like routes down the river, mushroom hunting , biking etc.
Camping activities and entertainment for adults and kids

Camping Cala Gogo (Playa de Aro – Calonge, Costa Brava)
Probably one of the campsites with the best entertainment around the Costa Brava. It offers a complete programm with activities for every age : From 0-4, from 5 to 9 from 10 to 14, and finally 14 until 17 years. Which means the campsite offers all sorts of activities, sports and games. Moreover it has some amazing services with 6 pools, sportfields, Access to the beach etc.

Camping Riu (Sant Pere Pecador, Costa Brava)
Located north Costa Brava, you will find this cute campsite with activities for kids and adults. It is a family campsite with kiddy pool, kids club and many activities for the Little ones.
On the other hand, it has this great location right at the nature parc “Aiguamolls de l’Empordà” and at the Fluvià rivershore. Last but not least, it’s the perfect spot for sports like hiking, kayak, biking, kitesurf etc.
