Near the Cala Gogo Internacional campsite, you find the town of Platja d´aro and everything it has to offer. Apart from an avenue full of stores, ideal for shopping, you can find a beautiful corner with nature in the Parc dels Estanys.

This Park of more than 150,000 m² was designed within the hydraulic plan of the Ridaura river. It recreates the typical marshes of the region with a pond in its center, which avoids flooding in case of heavy rains. The pond is also a refuge for many species of birds, which live in or migrate through this area. More than 170 species of birds have already been observed there.

So, if you feel like doing something different than sunbathing on the beach or shopping, this is also possible. The Parc dels Estanys is ideal for a family stroll, a bike ride, or a picnic in the area.
