Las Rocas Encantadas
"An old Catalan story tells that the devil lived in these lands, specifically at the highest point of the Sierra de Collsacabra. And from there he threw rocks into the valley. The villagers of Sant Feliu de Pallerols, as they grew tired of this, decided to ask an Angel for help. The Angel tied all the rocks of the place together so that the demon could not move them anymore. And because of this the demon left the place".
Whether this is true or not, this story helps us understand what this place is like, and enjoy it even more.
As its name suggests, it is a magical place, a natural space where impressive rocks draw the landscape. It is located in the region of La Garrocha, a well-known place by nature lovers.
The path through the forest is quite flat and simple, ideal if you come with children. It can be a bit long for the little ones, so taking a picnic to eat there is a good option. This way, the children will enjoy playing among the rocks after a good snack and before returning to the campsite.
